On September 11, 2026, Susan Aziz (with Eric Dodds) described how Featured, a co-pilot for public relations, runs on Vercel with three engineers supporting three brands and more than 100,000 users. The team migrated 374 Sanity sites from AWS Elastic Beanstalk to Vercel, routes chat across 17 models through AI SDK and AI Gateway, and replaced custom long-running job infrastructure with Workflow SDK. Agents deliver more than 100,000 media pitches per month.

Chat became the primary interface via eve and the useEveAgent hook, with durable sessions, streaming, tool calls, and approval prompts, and model calls through AI Gateway. Founder Brett Farmiloe frames Vercel's developer experience as the multiplier that lets three engineers move like a much larger team.

Featured's workflow is the same Vercel deploy path you already use in Chapter 1 (and the Node server work in Chapter 5).
